Do you put off doing big important tasks and get through the not important tasks instead?  Small, teeny tiny steps toward the “big” thing may be a more successful way to get the big things done rather than doing it all in one go.  The reason is that the joy and pride we get from accomplishing a big thing doesn’t last long, small victories (and many of them) lasts longer.  So rather than cleaning the whole oven today, maybe you would feel happier just doing the hob!
