We can deliberately influence our mood or subconscious. For instance looking at a particular shade of pink has been shown to reduce aggression in violent prisoners. The weather has also been shown to affect our mood and mental ability. Bad weather dampens our mood so we actively search our surroundings and opportunities to improve our mood.
