Anxiety appears to be increasing in the UK. Kim, a Wrexham counsellor discusses.
A survey by the Mental Health Foundation has found that 47% of people in the UK are feeling more anxious than they used to, with one in five saying they feel anxious most or all of the time. The ways these adults tended to cope with their anxiety was comfort eating and hiding away. Counselling is a very useful way to manage our feelings of anxiety. Whatever you choose to share remains confidential, and as you are not “burdening ” your family or friends with your difficulties, many people find that counselling offers a safe and secure space to talk. Kim, a Wrexham based counsellor can help you to explore your difficult thoughts and feelings to help you move out of anxiety back into living life. Call, text or email Kim for further details.
